During the workshop we will work on data and plant collections. Measuring the plant cover, tree algorithms, seeds of the highest importance, phytosociological photos and attention cubes: through a series of diagrammatic and somatic activities, we will tackle the nature and architecture of Floating with our own body. We’ll be using using intuitive, primal units of measurement: hands, leaves, ears, stones, shoots, moods. Using the body as a delicate measuring instrument, we will stretch concepts, bend stems, and create our own speculative typologies and topographies of a place.
The workshop was created in collaboration with ZAKOLE group as a development of Maja Demska’s Soft Data project.
