Centrum Centrum
is a patainstitution run by Małgorzata Mazur and Łukasz Jastrubczak on the premises of the allotment gardens in Szczecin. Their allotment is a place for relaxation, gardening, self-education on e.g. conceptual art, geology and forensics, as well as a center for exchange with other art centers.
During the Congress, Centrum Centrum will organize a reconstruction of the action Game on Morel Hill originally carried out by Oskar Hansen and his students in 1971 in Elbląg; a screening of Franco Zeffirelli’s film Brother Sun, Sister Moon (1972) and a presentation of field recordings made by Łukasz. During this year’s edition Małgorzata will begin a three-year cycle of documenting Contexts in the form of a film experiment.
